ERA Viewer: "System Error"

Hi,

since recently, the ERA Viewer started to report "System Errors" our apps. This seems to happen in standard calls to functions provided by the firmware. The rate is infrequent (about 1 of 1000 users in the field), but reproducable for the affected user.

a) I think, we hadn't "System Error" as error name hardly at all, before. Do see something similar?

b) Is "System Error" anything the dev can do about, or is it an error of the firmware / a specific device (problem on Garmin's side)?

What do you see in the stack trace in the ERA report?

That should point you to what was going on and it could be you are using something of the wrong type in your code, etc,,

You also want to look at which devices. Does it only happen on a couple? Only APAC variants and not World Wide, etc

In my experience it's mostly errors that the developers have no chance to fix (and even some other errors are such)
