Has anybody else working with custom fonts seem to change "weight" with inverted colors on MIP screens?
I was surprised to see so much asymmetry in the appearance on my FR255. While the text looks "white" on the black background, it ends up look thin and "gray" in places instead of "black" on the white background. It almost seems like I'd have to switch to a bold weight font for black text on white, to make it feel similar to the regular weight one for white text on black.
Does that mean that the 0x00, 0x55, 0xAA, 0xFF gray levels are not evenly spaced light levels? So arithmetically inverting them doesn't produce symmetric results? Or is there some other quirk in how CIQ is doing the color blending the glyphs into different background colors?
