Fit file that won't upload to Connect, allegedly corrupted (recorded by Edge 1050)

Hello, all. One of the .fit files that I have recorded with my Edge 1050, can not be uploaded to Garmin Connect as it has allegedly been corrupted. I have tried a few workarounds I had seen in the forums but to no avail. Given that the activity was of considerable value to me and that the good souls like Mike and Bart had been able to fix such issues before, I am kindly asking for help in this case as well. I have exactly the same problem and cannot even access the file via Finder on my Mac with the Edge 1050 plugged in.

You might need something like OpenMTP, Commander One, or MacDroid on your Mac. Used to be Android File Transfer, but that is no longer available.

Note that OpenMTP is free (and has the sole purpose of accessing MTP devices like Edge 1050), while Commander One is a fully fledged file manager which requires a $30 USD payment to upgrade to the pro version in order to access MTP devices.
