EEA authorization for grandfathered EU residents

I live in Austria/Europe, part of the European Union EU. My datafields appear for the EEA in the store, because I‘m developing since 1023 and I’m „grandfathered“ without registration for EEA.

My question:
If I start the verification process now - not to wait until grandfathering ends - what will happen?
-Am I blocked from EEA by starting the verification process, and have I wait then until verification has granted? (Meaning: no upload is possible for a certain time)
-Or „nothing will happen“ until I am approved - meaning: no interruption in upload possibility during approval process?

I was grandfathered in too, and signed up to be verified right when this started. For me, nothing changed as far as availability.

Nothing will happen.

BTW: uploads are even possible for new developers, before filling the form. What is not possible is for users from the EU to download their apps.
(And I wouldn't be surprised if by changing the country they would be allowed...)
