Monetize via monthly subscriptions?

Does anyone know if it's possible to charge a monthly price instead of a one-time fee via Garmin Monetization? My app encurrs server hosting and 3rd party api costs and the only sustainable way to offer it is via a monthly subscription. Will this be possible?

Does Garmin allow that we set up an up-front purchase for basic functionality and then handling subscription for "pro" features externally by the developer? (basically mixing garmin and ext. monetization…

Right now, Garmin Monetization is for up-front purchase, and doesn't support in-app or subscription at this time.
