Simulator zero distance covered

Hi,

Been trying to test some updates, and the Simulator, in what ever mode (either it generating data or loading a FIT file) is only generating an elaspedDistance output of zero. Therefore I can't test.

Has anyone seen this? Using SDK 7.2.1.

This is a known issue with 7.2.1

Thanks - I am also getting zero distance from FIT files.

I don't see that. If you recorded the fit with "smart recording" there are multi-second gaps in the data.

Just tried an old 2015 FIT file from my SDK 1.0 testing, and still the same.

You on a pc or a mac? I'm on win11 and it works fine with a fit file.

This is a BIG issue. Simulated elapsedDistance is one of the most important metrics involved in many fields. SDK 7.2.0 is also broken. I had to go back to 7.1.1 for this to work.

Yep, really difficult. I tried a complete range of FIT files, from different devices and age, and still can’t also get this to generate a distance reading.

Strange that you're seeing this problem with FIT files as well.

Like the others, I see this problem with simulated data but not FIT file playback.
