So I diag'ed the new issue I'm having with my local weather station. The only station I've ever seen do this, it now consistently returns NULL for wind speed and bearing.
I added a backup method to grab the [0] index in the hourly forecast array for wind speed "F", and the airport actually did provide that value. So now I will have wind speed and bearing again in my data field. Yay!
