Simulator ver. 7.2.1 error in displaying the position (lat, lon).

Hi, something unusual is happening in my project when I last updated the SDK to version 7.2.1.

When I run the simulator on WF and load the Lat, Lon position through the activity, I always get zero values when printing System.println, see.

Background: Refresh location [0.000000, 0.000000] quality : 4

Everything worked fine for me in version 7.1.1, is there a problem with the SDK?

There is a problem if you use Simulation>Activity Data>Data Simulation. if you play back a fit file the data is fine.

How can I create a FIT file?

Can it be imported from folders in the watch?

I have no experience with this.

Yes, many I use in the sim I pull from a watch. They are in Garmin/activity. I rename them so I know what they are. The one I show is a green way near where I live, where I was using a Tempe temperature sensor. You'll find that using 1 second recording instead of smart recording may work better.

I also will get fit files from someone else for testing a far different location (other side of the equator for example) or something I never do (an ultra for example). At times it's really nice to have reproducible data for testing. "Data Simulation" is random and around Olathe Kansas (that's where Garmin's HQ is)

Great, the guide helped and everything works for me to play the FIT file in SIM version 7.2.1, just like before.

So the fault is in the SIMULATOR, or so it seems to me.

I use one of my own cycle fit files. But I had to work on the stored cadance values. They showed the double as was recorded. I found no setting in simulator to correct it.

I first noticed this 9 years ago and it is somewhat depends on the sport. In some, cadence is based on steps (walking for example) and in some, rotations (like you'd see on a bike). I say "somewhat", as I first noticed this with walking and hiking.

So in my code, I have things like this:

if(Store.sportTypes[Store.sport][0]==Record.SPORT_HIKING) {
	lastCadence=(actInfo.currentCadence*2).format("%d")+" spm";
} else {
	lastCadence=(actInfo.currentCadence).format("%d")+" spm";
}

Notice the *2 if it's SPORT_HIKING. I see rotations and not steps for that, but with SPORT_WALKING, I see steps.
