Where is that? Simulator or real device?

Both.

The setting in the sim, I thought was related to something like anti-aliasing and maybe the GPU.

For CIQ apps. they are usually built/tested assuming specific fonts and their size.  I can see where changing the font they have based on the setting could break lots of things.

When I first got this setting on the watch, I checked that this DID NOT impacted the fonts in CIQ, as that would be bad.

What fonts are you using in your settings view?

You mean, that "System > Display > Large Fonts" setting has nothing to do to it?

I'm just trying to adjust the font that I use for glance to match that setting... I mean, I use FONT_GLANCE but it's too small when Large Fonts are enabled on the watch. So my idea was to use a bigger font instead when that setting is enabled.

Btw, re: antialiasing, isEnhancedReadabilityModeEnabled is *available* for FR955, that has basically the same screen as Fenix 7. Unfortunately I don't have the device at hand to check if it's connected to "Large Fonts" (that are for sure available on FR955) or not.

Let say you build an app with specific fonts and spacing.  If the font changes, that same app would look awful.

And what about custom fonts, used in many watch faces?

Maybe there's an issue for glances but I don't see it with my watch and looking at one of my glances next to a native one.

Again, not much of a difference for glances on the 955.

Well, from my understanding when isEnhancedReadabilityModeEnabled is true, that does not change the fonts (that would be indeed a disaster), rather gives the developer information about whether that setting is enabled or not. Moreover, if it automatically affected the fonts there would be no need to expose that setting (I mean, in assumption that it's indeed font related). Whether the developers account it or not, it's up to them?
