Facemaker v1.3.121

HI!

Thanks to the help from the most knowledgeable users here, Facemaker now supports Garmin!

www.youtube.com/watch

But only devices with AMOLED with API 5.0.0 are supported.
I think this is a revolution for Garmin and it would really help Garmin sales in Europe.

You can now really create a Garmin watchface in minutes, using nothing but your imagination. Just watch my videos.
I'm, also developing the Facemaker watchface store which will feature wearOS, but I'd really love to include Garmin.

I also have my own payment system ready to go, for all the designers out there, using Stripe.

My question is, (considering no one from Garmin admin reads this), can I include Garmin on my market?

Will I be sued?

Respectfuly, I know most of the designers here can barely create a complex watchface or just take too long to create it.
But now, you can create it in a couple of hours!
If you only take a couple of hours to create a watch face, would it be useful for you? Or am I wasting my time with Garmin?

I have been discouraged by a friend, regarding the inclusion of Garmin on my store, but I believe that this could be a very lucrative endeavour, for the both of us, Garmin and me.
A true market, where everyone could participate, not only programmers like me, but also designers... more offer and more sales.
I have thousands of users ready to go, just give me a green light.
If an executive from Garmin sees this, please contact me. I'm really positive about this.
My email is [email protected].

All the other users, let me know what you think!

All the best,

Nuno

  • You really haven't said that earlier, so I'm wondering what the right direction is.

  • Read and understand what others have posted,  It's not that hard.

  • You're running out of arguments, so I'll stop too, for now.
There's no use in continuing to argue what's basically non arguable.
The Garmin team will answer your thoughts and fears. And if I have to fix something, I just have to change the FM code and users can simply export the watchface again for it to be accepted.
I went through this with Huawei.

Keep in mind I'm not working against you, I'm actually trying to help and you're being a barrier.
I hope you change your mind. If not, I still don't hold a grudge.

    Cheers, mate!

  • Hi, interesting work, maybe you should have found this other site :

    https://garmin.watchfacebuilder.com/?screensize=454%20x%20454&sortby=stared

We all know it since years, not sure that it is used by  a lot of Garmin users.

  • Thanks for the link, not really interesting for me since FM is not Garmin exclusive.
Facemaker supports Huawei, Amazfit, Android and Garmin.

And I'm a week away from supporting the wearOS WFF2 format and later the WFF1.

Facemaker now outputs very stable watchfaces for Garmin, that are already being sold on the store.
Accepted without problems. No malware, with the source code being provided as requested.
So, all the fearmongering was just that. fearmongering.

I'm actively contributing to the Garmin community, in my own way.

Now for the news. Until now, only AMOLED was supported. Now, I have the pleasure to inform that MIP is also supported.
The 5.0.0 restriction still applies, but I WILL deliver support for all the Garmin watches very soon.
    This is a promise.

Thank you to all the Garmin customers and users who contributed with their help with the debugging.
You have my eternal gratitude and help whenever you need it.

Here's the latest video for the MIP watches, enjoy!
And sorry for my english, it's not my mother language.
