Facemaker v1.3.121

HI!

Thanks to the help from the most knowledgeable users here, Facemaker now supports Garmin!

www.youtube.com/watch

But only devices with AMOLED with API 5.0.0 are supported.
I think this is a revolution for Garmin and it would really help Garmin sales in Europe.

You can now really create a Garmin watchface in minutes, using nothing but your imagination. Just watch my videos.
I'm, also developing the Facemaker watchface store which will feature wearOS, but I'd really love to include Garmin.

I also have my own payment system ready to go, for all the designers out there, using Stripe.

My question is, (considering no one from Garmin admin reads this), can I include Garmin on my market?

Will I be sued?

Respectfuly, I know most of the designers here can barely create a complex watchface or just take too long to create it.
But now, you can create it in a couple of hours!
If you only take a couple of hours to create a watch face, would it be useful for you? Or am I wasting my time with Garmin?

I have been discouraged by a friend, regarding the inclusion of Garmin on my store, but I believe that this could be a very lucrative endeavour, for the both of us, Garmin and me.
A true market, where everyone could participate, not only programmers like me, but also designers... more offer and more sales.
I have thousands of users ready to go, just give me a green light.
If an executive from Garmin sees this, please contact me. I'm really positive about this.
My email is [email protected].

All the other users, let me know what you think!

All the best,

Nuno

  • But remember, this FM stuff isn't really for end users, but devs.  That's how they make money!

  • Of course they care about the money, that's the bare reasonn why they create these wonderful devices.
But we love them. And we care for them and we want to create wonderful watchfaces for them.
I have 25 smartwatches, unfortunately none of them is Garmin, at least not yet.

I just want want everyone to have their perfect watchface, the one they use on an event and everyone notices it.
Wearing a custom watchface can speak a thousand words and most people don't even think about it.
It's a way of showing who you are and what you stand for.

  • This is getting silly with someone that's never even seen a real Garmin

  • That sounds like Apple fans' show off, not like athletes who use the watch for it's functionality. But I guess there are folks like that within the Garmin users too, otherwise the spam watch faces would die out

  • Again, with the "you don't have a Garmin device" argument.
That's silly of you too. And you're not really selling Garmin, quite the opposite.
So please, leave my thread once and for all.

Or don't, and keep contributing to the notoriety of it.

  • If I buy a Garmin watch tomorrow, will I be accepted into the JIM group?
Willl Jim find me cool, then?
Frankly man, I thought you were something else.

  • Ok, "anything for a buck"

    You proved it yet again!

It's not "your thread".  You don't like what others say, ignore it!

  • Look, as I said before (you seem to have a problem reading older posts), I don't earn a lot with this.
Quite the contrary. But you must admit that all of this was the result of you guys posing problems against me and my software.
    I wonder why.

Now, I don't care about your motivations and you can reply whatever you want from now on, but just keep in mind that I do not want to circunvent any of the Garmin rules and I never wanted to antagonize you guys.
But just read back on this thread. Just read it.

I've been nothing but thank yous, but you guys are always attacking me, I wonder why.
    What's your motivation?

Do you feel threatened in any way?

  • Because you still don't understand many basics and you are heading in the wrong direction, but unwilling to understand that...

  • OK, Obi Wan, lead me in the right direction please.
