Connect IQ User Settings Issue

A user is reporting to me they are having a hard time saving User Settings from an iPhone using Connect IQ. He is a coach and severa of his clients are using my data field and seeing that too.

But MANY others are using it, as am I, and no one else is reporting any issues.

Basically, what he is saying, is that he'll enter User Settings (in this case, username and password), and then the Connect IQ iPhone app goes white. The settings seem to transmit, since the data field uses these to perform a WebGet, which works. When he goes back to Connect IQ settings for the field, the data he entered isn't there. But after several tries, then the settings seem to take and are saved.

I have no idea what could cause that. It works for me and my iPhone and EDGE 1030.

Got any thoughts?

  • I too have had some reports of iOS users not being able to save alphanumeric settings properly and/or settings not being re-populated. I use Andorid but was able to replicate the issue with an older iPhone but have yet to find who is affect and why and have not yet found a consistent workaround.
