Simulator does not start from visual studio code

Hi,

Any ideas why the Simulator does not start when I build the current project?

The project is built successful and there are no errors in the terminal log.

The simulator would run perfectly before with this project. I have updated/downgraded the SDK, and still nothing...

This is a known issue. Close the simulator window. Probably you'll need to force/kill it. Then click on Run again and it'll open a fresh simulator window, and usually then it works.

Problem is the simulator window never appears, and I never see the exe in the windows task manager when I build the project.

I had this problem too and upgrading the VS Code Monkey C extension fixed it.
