Connect IQ apps not installed on Garmin edge 1000

i have the latest software on my garmin edge 1000 and have downloaded a few connect IQ apps.

problem is i can't locate them on my garmin edge.

the IQ app centre in the bottom right of the screen says that nothing is there but both my garmin connect app and app on my mac says they are installed.

am a bit miffed as to whats going on. do i need to manually install them once they are downloaded to the device.

any help as since i have had my device i have not been able to use anything off connect IQ

Did you download watch-apps, data fields, or widgets? They'll be in different places are are used differently.

On that page "Applications" are what's often called "watch-apps". You'll see separate items for "Data fields" and "Widgets". There's also different icons in the app store to indicate the type in the lower right of each thing. "A" is for watch-apps, while a gear is for widgets, and a circle with three lines is for data fields.

Me too/ Im using edge 1000, it shows that it has been downloaded at Garmin Express, but I cant find it on my edge 1000.

I assume you downloaded a datafield. As described above - you cannot find datafields under „Apps“. You have to set it on a datascreen.
