Vivosmart HR plus 2.60 Israel software

Hello,

I am trying to update my watch with the new Israel software from here: http://download.garmin.com/software/vivosmartHRplusIsrael_260.rgn
I am putting it under GARMIN folder as usual and it ignores and delete the file.
I guess it is somehow region locked and it is real pity because I bought the unit in germany before it was available in Israel.
anyone can help?

This is really a question for the va-hr forum at https://forums.garmin.com/forumdisplay.php?584-vivoactive-HR The current US FW is 2.90. On your watch, go to settings>system>about and then tap on "SW versions", as you may already have something newer than 2.60. The va-hr does "auto installs" when new FW ready to install on the watch.

It is the vivosmart hr+ (plus)
the latest international fw is 2.60 and they added israeli specific version also 2.60, released few days ago
