How to debug code on Vivoactive 5? Nothing saves to myapp.txt to LOGS folder. RequestWrite doesn't work.

On Vivoactive 5 I can't debug my app because Vivoactive 5 doesn't save to MyApp.txt any logs.

I put MyApp.txt file to Logs folder.

Another problem is with BLE requestWrite on Vivoactive 5.

To comparison, on Fenix 7,6, Venu 2 Plus everything works just fine — logs are stored, requestWrite works just fine.

Where is the issue? Are these problems just related to Vivoactive 5?

"MyApp" must match the name of the prg file, and if you had a store version installed, that's an 8 character name generated by the store.

On a va5, requestWrite is working fine for me with the sensors I have at hand.

Yes, it is the same as prg file. As I said on Fenix 7,6, Venu 2 Plus it logs just fine

If you had a store version installed and then copied over a sideload, the sideload's name will be changed.

No, installed only by moving prg file to Apps folder

add a compile time error to your code, this way you can verify what is the name of your prg file

Great idea, but just to clarify, I assume you actually mean a runtime error. (e.g. array of out of bounds error)
