Garmin not seeing Arduino sensor

I'm working on a sensor I'd like to use, and when my Arduino reaches the pairing step all other devices can see it over Bluetooth no problem. But when I scan for bluetooth devices on my Garmin nothing shows, does Garmin only look for certain Service UUIDs? Or is something else awry?

Turns out that's exactly what it was. Once I set my Service UUID and Characteristic UUID to be the values for Heart Rate, my Garmin saw it immediately. Just gotta find an appropriate one from the registered list for my device.

I just made up my own UUIDs, and set those in the app when I registered the profile in my app.

With this you can see the default UUIDs advertised by your sensor.

I stumbled across your project last night before i went to bed! I definitely plan on going through this and some of you other projects as I learn the Garmin SDK. My projects all involve pairing the device to read off data and send it to a Data Field during an activity, but the Raspberry PI project definitely looks like there's a lot I can learn from it.
