Can't download to new fr735xt

Just purchased fr735xt and fully updated and synced with express and connect. Have connected and synced through iOS Bluetooth, Mac and PC.

Any attempt to download anything from connect iq for it gives me following:

This app requires an update of your Forerunner 735XT. Please use Garmin Express to update your Forerunner 735XT.

I have even updated to latest beta software, to see if that was problem, but same thing. Tried rebooting the fr, and various other things.

Any solution? Thanks

Try exiting / logging off Garmin Connect, Apps.Garmin.com and Garmin Express completely and restarting them. One of them isn't getting the message that the watch has been updated. They should sync up when you log back on.
