[Minor] Simple Data Field not using same font as Native Fields

Hi,

I have had some negative feedback that my data field is displaying in a slightly different font to native fields!!

As the data is a percentage, they have compared my field against a native field which also shows a percentage, and a screenshot shows my field in a slightly smaller font.

The data field in question is a SimpleDataField one, therefore the rendering is left outside of my code.

I've enclosed the screenshot from the User - 'Grade' is the Native Field, and 'Grade Max' is mine. The device is a Edge 1000

Would this be related to the new System Fonts, and these are not being used by Simple Data Fields?

So this was reported 6 years ago and again and again since then. For owner's of a Venu Sq this makes simple data fields pretty much useless because the font is so extremely small. Is there going to be…

Hey Chris,

Thanks for the heads up. We're going to look into it and see if it's on the CIQ side or if there is something going on with the info that the device is giving to us when we are asking for the System Fonts.

Are you using the new FONT_SYSTEM_* fonts or the FONT_* fonts?

As per OP, I am using SimpleDataField, so no fonts; and device reported at Edge 1000.

No worries, I thought with your knowledge, I had missed something!

I think the Base Class of SimpleDataField is using a different font; at least on the Edge 1000. Hopefully Coleman can find out more.
