Fenix 7X and Tactix 7 Language Not Changing

Two users reported that the language displayed on their device is persistently the default language (English) and not the language in their device settings (Italian and German). One user has a Fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar, and the other user has a Tactix 7 Pro (I understand these are essentially the same). They only experience this problem with my watch face app and not other CIQ watch faces. It works fine if I test it in the simulator and on my own device (fenix 7S pro sapphire solar).

Any advice on what could be causing this problem or how to troubleshoot?

I actually have two users who reported this, the second user having a fenix 7X Pro Sapphire Solar. I updated the title and description of this post to include this.

If the problem only occurs with my app, would it have something to do with how the app is handling the 7X?

The bug is in the firmware 16.22, it's strange, Garmin haven't released fix yet, and all users have to wait 3 months for new firmware (or more,, maybe they don't plan to fix as bug was in beta and was reported),

Not only with yours! Everyone have problem when rely on system. You can add property "language" and handle strings yourself.

The user sent me photos of their device screen showing that the language translation was working for certain other CIQ watch faces by third-party developers but not mine. I reached out to one of those developers, and they’re not using a language property but the resource folders as normal, similar to what I’m doing.

Why would it work for one app and not another? Could it be the SDK or operating system? I’m currently using SDK 7.1.0 with Mac OS 14.1.1.

please, just do what they told you: read the numerous (at least 5) threads about the exact same issue in this forum and also a few in the bug report forum.

Ask user to install one of my wf and should bu untranslated.

Sometimes watch returns good language (after changing twice, but it has to be done after every reset).
