Is garmin lily or lily 2 supported

Hello,

Someone recommend garmin lily for my son(10 years old) which would be better than the VA 4 at his wrist.

But I'm using a specific app on my VA4 built using connect IQ.

I can't find the lily or lily 2 in the supported devices, neither any information reg which SDK they would support.

Are these watch compatible with the SDK ? If yes, do they have another name in the device comptible list ? (commercial name could be different than technical name.

Regards,

Pierre

  • It's far from a great choice from a ciq standpoint, the lily2 is supported in theory but it is basically unsupported.

If the connect iq app is important for you I would pick another device.

I think the venu sq or venu sq 2 could be a good Device for a small wrist

Alternatively the "s" versions such as vivoactive 4s might be a good match too

  • Thank you for the answer.

venu SQ and SQ2 have a nasty bug with bluethooth preventinf me to use it... We get the error queu full only on these device since an upgrade.

Vivoactive 4s is not good enough for battery.

I'll keep my VA 4 for the moment.

  • My son got my old fr245 2 years ago when he was 10, and he is very thin. The only problem was that at the beginning the silicon band was a little bit long, but it didn't bother him much (and if it would've I would've cut it for him)

I think it's a great watch, and probably you could find good deals now on fr245. And if you want newer watch then you can look at some of the other forerunners that have the "s" version
