I need some clarification on the new regulations regarding the "Payment Required" status.
My application has been rejected even though it is an open beta which could possibly make some (previously flagged) features payment required at a later date. At the time of release and for a long period afterwards, however, it would be completely free of charge, as described in the app info.
Does Garmin not trust the developers to reliably change the status themselves at a later date?
A second point would generally be when to set the "Payment Required" flag. According to an older forum post, it was previously not absolutely necessary to set this flag if only a significantly small proportion of functions are subject to a charge and the basic function of an app is not impaired. I understand that this is no longer possible under newer regulations.
So why do I see at least one app in the Appstore that violates this and has been accepted under the old system for the last few days?
Am I missing something?
When should existing apps be re-reviewed under the new rules? Is there any information on this or on other planned options for marking an app as paid or optionally payable?
So far I've only seen one post about the fact that even questions about donations now have to be marked with the Payment Required Flag.

A little more information or an approximate time frame for when this will be implemented would be nice for planning certainty.
