One more person with the same issue here.
I just got the beta firmware (system 7) on my venu 2 and the weather simply disappeared from my watch face, and the reason is because I've always done a check for data type (Number). I have been flooded with users complaining about the temperature not being displayed, but both in the API docs and in the simulator the temperature is indeed Number. For some reason, system 7 updates have changed the temperature to float and no one updated the documentation or the simulator.
Only realized that it is now float because of one user that, for some reason unknown to me, said that the temperature was being displayed with 6 decimal cases, even though I have a check that should have prevented a float from being there at all.
I am seeing a problem on
The current temperature is about 6 deg F lower than it should be . In fact currentTemperature seems to be returning the low temperature. I cannot reproduce the bug in the simulator
Garmin weather has never been that accurate for me. The weather station is at the airport, and though I'm in the same city, there is a small mountain between me and the airport. It can even be clear there and raining where I am.
On top of that, I display observationTime along with temperature, and the data I see is often an hour or more old. Up unit a few weeks back, it was more like 20 minutes with Android.
Have you looked on the forum for that product to see if other watch faces are having the same issue?
