Turn off live tracking during app use

I've developed an app for squash but I've been getting complaints that they can't deactivate livetrack while using the app.

Is this possible to do programmatically?

1. I don't think you can do it from CIQ code

2. Are you sure that's what you need? At the beginning of every regular activity you can enter the settings and change these kind of things, and then it's saved for future times as well. Maybe you need to see if that's somehow possible for apps that are essentialy activities.
