A user of my eShifting Data Field asked a great question. He has SRAM AXS electronic shifting. AND he has the new "Classified" wireless rear hub that allows for internal shifting between two gears. Essentially performing the equivalent of two chainrings, but internal to the rear hub. Apparently Wahoo head units (which compete with Garmin EDGE) can concurrently pair with BOTH the SRAM shifting system AND the Classified shifting system. To display natively the cassette gear SRAM is in and the gear the Classified Hub is in. Garmin can't do that natively (pair to both). He asked me if I could do that in my CIQ Datafield.
It doesn't appear that using the higher-level CIQ ANT+ Shifting method, that I can pair with two different shifting systems. I might be able to do this using the lower level ANT methods, but then I lock out any other access to those systems, something I like to avoid.
Any other ideas?
