I'm sorry but I'm kinda really getting annoyed by Garmin atm.
I knew the setting groups in the app already have not been working for a long time which is already pretty annoying but I can live with it. But today I started to make an App using the array settings and half way (because yeah you have to submit as Beta app etc to really test it) and found out that that is not working either.
I don't know if this is iPhone only or any phone. But it's really annoying such an obvious bug is there for a long time and Garmin just doesn't give a *** about it. Even not a mention on their documentation that it currently is not working.
Pretty much wasted a mornings work because of this. Kinda am done developing for Garmin watches atm ngl.
There's just so many things you bump into and it's getting really frustrating not being able to just trust on that what the docs give you is also how it actually works.
I don't even talk about the wrong example codes returning a string while it should be an array etc. But yeah just mentioning functionally which just straight up doesn't work and hasn't been fixed over a long time is just very bad, sorry to say.
I don't know who oversees this whole technical part of Garmin, but I really think its about time to replace the CTO over there. I mean even the amount of server outages they have all time time. I'm really starting to think their technical lead is just not fit for the job or something.
