1.2.x Compatibility

Hi,

I feel the answer is yes, but to avoid loads of bad reviews if I am wrong, can I confirm?

If I use the new 2.1.x function signatures (like onStart) can I still declare the min SDK as 1.2.x?

onStart() and onStop() has been declared to take a single parameter since at least 1.1.4. Additionally, the development team tries to ensure that later versions of the SDK are compatible with earlier versions.

You should be good on all accounts.

I know both pre and post 1.1.4 (as recent as 1.2.11) have them missing from the templates.
