.fit file corrupted

Hi,

Could someone help me. I have a .fit file that is corrupted and not uploading to garmin connect well. I have tried to find a solution on various sites and even uploaded the file to garmin support who has not replied to me. I have a mac so there is one file repair software I have come across that I cannot use due to compatibility. I would really appreciate the help if someone is able to fix the file.

Did you try using FIT File Tools? Works in your web browser on Mac or Windows. Import the file into the section remover, then download the fixed file. Upload the repaired file into Garmin Connect Web, then change the activity type from Other to Running.

Let me know if you're unable to do this. In which case, I can attach the repaired file for you.

I did try to use that. Then the file I get from that site that I try to upload to Garmin I get an error saying the file type is not supported (even though it’s still a .fit file). I would appreciate any help you can offer if you would give that site a try and I can try to upload the new file.
