Cannot configure apps... Settings button has disappeared in Connect Mobile app

This started about 2 hours ago...

in Connect Mobile App, the Settings button has disappeared on my iPhone and those of users as well.

Who else is having the same trouble?
Does this affect Android apps as well?

I already had 3 users alerting me of the issue.
I have informed Garmin as well.
  • No settings in GCM/Android either.....
  • I believe this is because existing apps are assigned a trust level of "Developer" instead of "Trusted" after the upgrade of device firmware to CIQ 2.x and seem to be treated in the same way as sideloaded apps. This must be a bug that will be fixed. The info on the security framework in CIQ 2.x states that existing apps on the store should get a status of "Trusted".
  • Settings was working earlier today and yesterday. And when I just tried it, it was for one of my apps built wth 2.1.2 and both developer and store signing, on a device with a 2.1.1 VM.

    If there's an issue with signing, the app won't even run on the device, and an error is generated in the ciq_log.txt file on the device.

    This looks to me like GCM can't get the needed .json from the app store that it needs for app-settings.
  • Missing in action in GE as well...to be expected given Jim's json theory.
  • Confirmed not working in Garmin Connect mobile with BOTH existing watch faces I installed prior to the updates and new installs off the Connect IQ store.

    I've confirmed what you are seeing and we're looking into the root cause of this issue now, with hopefully some additional information tomorrow morning.

    Missing settings button for IQ Apps

    Settings button disappeared in Garmin Connect (3.9) and in Garmin Express (4.1.25.0). I'm using Garmin Forerunner 230 (5.20).

    Hi,

    I have the same problem on my forerunner 630.

    yesterday, I've installed 5.20 software on a perso IQ apps (with pending status).
    After that, configure option on garmin express and Android application disappeared for all IQ app's

    If you have an idea...

    Same here and all add that in GE all added apps show up as "Development" Widget/Application, etc...what a mess, how on earth could that have passed beta testing? Oh right, Garmin doesn't do any beta testing!
  • Same problem here on Fenix 3 HR. Yesterday could configure ActiFace via phone/ garmin express but today this option disappered. Any help?
