Connect IQ for dog tracking handhelds (Alpha-series)?

Are there any plans to add Connect IQ support for dog tracking handhelds, Alpha 300 for example? I'd love to be able to start writing dedicated applications for dog training :)

I doubt it, but you can build dog tracking apps for devices that do have CIQ.

I've done a few apps already for watches, but being able to build something for the handhelds would open up new possibilities.Puppy training, tracking stuff like feeding vs performance etc.

I think some of the gps-only devices already have the CIQ support, so there might not be a practical reason why it is not available for the newer Alphas.

I suspect that adding CIQ to your device would be non-trivial and take some time if it was decided to do so at all..
