SDK manager keeps not responding

what happens after you force quit it then restart it?

Repeat this problem until I restart my Mac. LOL

Which chip are you running on (M1, M2, etc.)? Would you be willing to try updating to 14.1.2 to see if that helps? Unlikely, but perhaps worth trying. This isn't something that's been reported elsewhere as far as I know, and it's not been encountered internally.

When you force quit, you should have an opportunity to obtain a problem report—if you can forward that along to [email protected], that may provide us with some helpful info.

M1. Thanks for your reply. Now it works. A more serious problem is https://forums.garmin.com/developer/connect-iq/i/bug-reports/ontimerreset-not-called-in-a-datafield-on-fenix7 . I wanna know some info about this which delays our progress. Did you reproduce this issue?

Now my system version is 14.1.2 (23B92). The problem disappeared.

not sure if my problem is similar or not but i have been having issues where my app, along with the simulator freezes when trying to access start function in activity record.

the only to unfreeze everything is to force quit the simulator and restart the app.

Its on Mac M1 chip with OS 14.1.2, i updated the OS after reading this post yesterday, when jim_m_58 shared this post.

I've tried using different Java versions, 21 and 17 but still same same issue

JDK version seems to be too high

i tried it with JDK 17, but still the same problem. do you mean, i should go event lower ?

I used JDK 11 at most.

 I just downgraded to JDK 11. still the same thing
