Fenix 3 updated borked my watch face

I've got an inbox full of Fenix 3 owners who updated firmware and my watch face
https://apps.garmin.com/en-GB/apps/8f514274-d4d6-4c6b-9079-a319d9ada5ce no longer works. I updated my Fenix HR today and no problems but don't have a Fenix 3 to test and fix. Anyone give me a steer on what may have changed?

few questions that might help:

What version of the SDK did you build with?

What FW version are people having a problem with? (does it have a 1.2.x VM or a 1.3.1 VM?)

Could someone send you the \garmin\apps\logs\ciq_log.txt from one of the watches having problems? (that might tell you whats going on by itself)

I installed your app on a fenix 3 running 7.50, and the watch face crashes. Since this is a release version of the app from the store, I don't get any useful call stack info in the CIQ_LOG:
