OWM onecall not working properly.

I'm trying to call the weather via api.openweathermap.org/.../onecall, but sometimes it doesn't work correctly.

For me it is temperature_min, temperature_max, rainfall.

Here they attach their code:

on my side, it seems to work well for "old" API but does not work for new API, a suscription is needed.

hi, as kemppaij said, keep in mind that the oneCall data won't work on many many devices (like fr55, 255, F6 nonpro etc), they don't have enough memory to deal with the API answer, even if you use exclude…

Like jim_m_58 you can use

"api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/weather" which at least will fit for sure. It doesn’t contain as much data, but works fine.

Using https://api.openweathermap.org/data/2.5/weather" you get much less data. No need for a proxy even on devices with less memory for a background service.

After importing the prg file to the watch, the watch behaves like it doesn't update my weather data. I also have an update time function created, so I can see when the data was updated on the watch.

When I included the onecall call in the code, the weather watch did not update for several hours...

I would also like to add that in the function I use the weather call via:

var url = "">api.openweathermap.org/.../weather";

but also some data via

"">api.openweathermap.org/.../onecall";

With stuff like this there are other things involved. for example, it could be the weather stations aren't updating OWM Where I live there's more than one weather station close by, and the data will switch between them based on what's available.

In the url I'm using here's where those are in the dictonary. Make sure you are looking in the correct place. Add aprintln to your makeWebRequest call back to see the data as it was received.
