Any way to install apps that aren't officially compatible on watches?

There is an app ErgIQ that doesn't officially support epix 2 but there doesn't seem to be a reason why it wouldn't work (older fenix watches are supported). Is it possible to manually side load or force install to see what happens?

Already tried contacting developer but no response yet

You need access to a watch which:

- can download the app from the store (or already has the app installed)

- does not hide that app type from the filesystem when connected to a computer via USB (for example, all music apps are hidden, but for newer generations, other app types are also hidden)

If the other watch has a different screen type than Epix 2, which is very likely since Epix 2 has a high-resolution AMOLED screen (compared to the older low-resolution MIP screens), then the app most likely will not display properly. (It’s best to find a source watch which has the same resolution as the destination watch, but that may not be possible in your case.)
