Detect SDK Version in Datafield?

Is there a clever way to detect the SDK version the device is running? Maybe a try/catch or a "has" for a feature introduced in SDK 4.x, which sets a flag?

I need to generate a vertical font position offset for SDK 4 EDGE devices, which have a different behavior and are not positioned correctly in the simulator.

I think you mean the API level or "Connect IQ version", not SDK version. (Yes, the SDK version is correlated with the API version - or at least it was in the past.)

Anyway, I think you can use DeviceSettings.monkeyVersion to do what you want.

@FlowState's idea is the correct one. (There's nothing really to stop Garmin from adding the activity type to lower IQ versions.)

Especially since 945 LTE (a CIQ 3.4 device) apparently has the same codebase as CIQ 4 devices such as 955 / 965 / etc.
