Include microphone access in the SDK

Any updates on that, I searched the API docs and I couldn't find a way to access the mic. Very sad that we can't develop a basic voice notes app when the Venu 3 is perfectly capable of it and has the user base for it.

As cool as this would be, I doubt it would ever happen.

- The amount of general-purpose data CIQ apps are allowed to store was something tiny like 8 kb per item, 100 KB total in 2018. To record audio, apps would need to be able to store a lot more than that

- With the exception of activity recording (and downloading certain types of content), Garmin doesn’t let CIQ write any kind of data to the file system that the user can access outside of the CIQ app that wrote it

- Garmin has supported bluetooth audio for a long time, but has never done anything with the bluetooth mic in CIQ, let alone the built-in mic on Venu 3

- Even their native features that support audio recording suck (I mean on watches without a mic — I don’t own a Venu 3). For me, workout audio notes (recorded in Connect) suck bc they’re played back at an extremely low volume (compared to Spotify audio, for example)

- In general, CIQ apps are extremely hamstrung compared to what native software can do. You’ll never see anything revolutionary from a CIQ app bc Garmin won’t allow it. In CIQ, you’re not writing general purpose apps that can do anything, you’re playing in Garmin’s sandbox

I could be proved wrong in the future, but to me, the lack of CIQ support for the mic is pretty consistent with CIQ limitations in the past.

Maybe now Garmin will add microphone access since F8 can record audio. It would be nice to make an app that monitors sound levels to see how loud the environment is. 

I bought the Felix 8 in order to create a app with mic access and I am a bit disappointed that this is not yet possible. Would also really appreciate this being implemented
