Weather TEMP Anomaly

I train in Florida and the heat down here has been extraordinary. Near 100F with relatively high humidity. I've noticed that the currentConditions temperature always seems to max out at 89.6F. For a few rides, I thought this was a coincidence. But this is such a specific value and repeatably climbs to this and stays here.

I'm thinking it must be some issue with this airport's weather reporting? Curious if anyone else has seen anything like this?

89.6° F is exactly 32° C - that can't be a coincidence - Garmin devices measure Celsius internally.

But I can't confirm that 32° C is a maximum.... It is hot here in Austria, but we rarely go above 30° C.

But I will keep an eye on the temperature display on the Edge and report if I see more than 32° C one day!

This is the todays forecast - and it will not get 32° C till end of August.

So, someone else who lifes in hotter areas has to observe his weather station

Right now (5am) I'm showing 91.4F with Garmin Weather on a couple watches and it's close to what I see with Weather Underground. Here (Phoenix) we have yet another day were 110F is expected.

On an edge 530, I'm also seeing 91F. The weather source used is the main airport here.

I suspect your 89.6 is due to the weather station you're getting data from.

I'm seeing over 100F with Garmin weather right now..
