Anywhere I can get device files for FR965?

The ConnectIQ SDK Manager doesn't work (surprise). It isn't able to log in, and therefore isn't able to download device files for my Forerunner 965. I guess the location of the folder is %userprofile%\appdata\roaming\garmin\connectiq\devices\fr965

Anywhere I can get those files manually, as a zip maybe? Do I need a "fr965-hash" setting from the %userprofile%\appdata\roaming\garmin\connectiq\sdkmanager-config.ini as well?

What version of the sdkmanager are you running? 1.0.6 is the current one. Try that one if you have a different version. If you use that to get the device files, they will also stay up date, as they can change over time

Thanks for the advice. Where is the version number of the sdk manager hidden? The idea is good, and I have the sdk manager that i downloaded a year ago. But even though the settings sdk-update=0 and install-sdk-updates=0 in the sdkmanager-config.ini file, the sdk manager still automatically updates the sdk manager and restarts. So I am not able to test your suggestion.

In the sdkmanager. you can find the version under file>about. BTW, I wouldn't hand edit the ini file. Use file>preferences.

Thanks again. For the current sdk manager, there is only file>quit in the menu, and no file>about nor file>preferences. Seems you have more menu items. It's not possible to access the old sdk manager's menu because it auto updates at startup.

Sounds like you have a really old version. Download the latest SDK manager.

The latest SDK manager downloaded from that link doesn't work. Clicking the login button and providing a valid user name and password results in an eternal loader wheel, even though the same username and password works for both connect.garmin.com, apps.garmin.com, and forums.garmin.com (here). I also tested an invalid username and password, and that gives an error message instead of a loader wheel.
