OWM - "city" => data["name"] = Globe?

I had a few users mention this with one of my widgets, but it was a while back, and no one since.

In the data you get back from OWM, does "coord" seem to be correct?  (lat/lon you are getting data for)

Could be that OWM is just having issues, so not much you can do.

Weird thing is where I live there is actually a city called "Globe" not that far away that could be correct if closer stations are off line.

Globe is when gps=[0,0]. API sometime returns [0,0] when no valid gps (instead of null). You have to check accuracy of gps.

Now I turned on the SIM and there is no problem with the OWM provider, it works for me in the simulator. Just to mention that I am currently using the F6 watch.

Do you want to post a function how I get the Lat, Lon location?

So should I start an activity to locate the GPS location?

Same way you get any data out of the response you get to the makeWebRequest

Now I was outside and started an activity on the watch and got the current position and the weather was refreshed and again I have the information including the city name.

Is there any way to fix this so I don't have this problem?

When you have a location, save it to Storage, and when you don't have one, use what's in Storage (if there is one there).  If there isn't, display a message to the user.

Obtaining gps is rather trivial but good managing it can be a bit complicated due to ciq architecture.

Look into crystal source code.

What exactly should I look for in that Application?

You can use Toybox.Position to get current location
