First of all, apologies because I couldn't find an appropriated place to talk about the 18x 5Hz, and so I choose this developer section, as this is also development.
Does anybody has ever faced this situation? I have a very noisy Latitude read (). The Longitude read, on the other hand, look steady as it should be ().
To explain further, I collected this data while riding my car, at around 8 km/h speed, in a desert street, high ground, no trees and open sky. I'm in Brazil, we don't have WAAS, EGNOS and any other correction system. So, I deactivated the WAAS on this 18x 5Hz unit to prevent anything. ()
I saved the data and plot it with Matlab help.
Would it be some kind of sensitivity configuration? Maybe a defective unit? This can't be right, I started developing the system with a cheap ublox chipset, and this didn't ever happen.
