How to retreive water depth of nautical maps on Quatix 7?

Hi,

I'd like to get the map water depth of my current position on my Quatix 7 watch. Is it possible to extract that data via the API and show it in a data field?

I've uploaded nautical maps to the watch.

Hi,

I'm still trying to solve the above mentioned problem. Is it possible to get the water depth from the nautical maps for a specific position (best would be own gps position)?

Hi Benny,

I've been looking for an asnwer to the same question. Based on my current understanding, you can only get current depth if you are connected to a boat's device (e.g. charplotter). So, I guess, the answer in "no" sadly. Big dissapointment for me personally.

Maybe somebody else found otherwise?
