I have had the same observations as you before but for updating a clock face. This time, it is for uploading a new app (clock face) which is 46MB built for more than 50 devices. So there is no place where I can check if the upload went through. It doesn’t show in my developer console.
No I cannot. Just the screen above after trying to upload a new app. I have tried this a week before too ensuring that the Garmin store isn’t actually down for maintenance. At that time, another one of my apps which was 36mb got uploaded without any issues. But this one just keeps going to the screen above.
nothing but reducing the size will help. in my case, there are much fewer color combinations for the watch face because garmin has it figured out the way it is and it has to be solved through pictures. in the case of a new watch face, it's ok, if it doesn't go through, I'll delete one theme and try again, but in the case of an update, it's very unfortunate, because even if it throws an error, I never know if it went through and will be fine. it throws an error, the file goes through for some reason, but I don't know if it's complete.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but wouldn't you know if the update went through based on whether the version number changed? I'm assuming it's never the case that an update was successful (with or without error), and the version number *does not* change. If that actually is the case, I would be very worried, because as you said, it would mean that you would have no way of knowing whether an update actually went through or not.
