Discovered a peculiarity thismorning after updating from 4.15 to the latest SDK
One of my users has reported losing all the custom ( IQ ) FIT data from the GCM & Garmin express.
From what I can tell, I've not changed anything and the data was there the last time others used 4.15
The difficulty I have with my data, is that I'm not in a position to simply test it out, I have to insert fake activity information and modify several parts of the app so it reads the fake activity in order to populate the custom FIT or else they will probably be empty.
Not sure why it stopped working, but maybe someone can identify why it might be happening.
I have 12 fields total.
11 are session summaries currently set to float
1 is a smart recording field to populate a graph also set to float.
A - is there a way for me to get Garmin Connect mobile to populate other than uploading new versions to the store?
Can you explain the simplest way to do this? Is it copy the File location to a new file , generate a new UUID, and set it to beta?
B - Given it was working before, any ideas why it stopped now?
I'm put off updating my other application in fear of it also having the FIT features breaking....
