Customize menu on watchface selection

I noticed some watch face allows you to customize properties when you apply them.

When you select a watch face you want, it will only show you "Apply" menu but some watchfaces support "Customize" and "Delete" menus.

I couldn't find any resources on developing these menus.

Or you can check out this open-source watchface, which implements such an on-device menu (see Settings.mc) and also demonstrates how you can store the selected options and access them from the watchface code.
