Does heavy calculations in Datafield affect performance/saving of data?!

Hello,

i´m testing a datafield with heavy calculations every second,
and since using this datafield on my 920XT I have hundreds of errors in the recorded speed.
Randomly the speed will be 0 for one second, the next second the saved speed is double the realistic value.
Is this just coincidence, or is my 920XT "to busy" calculating and therefore having issues with saving realtime data?! :confused:

Have you tried a simple data field that only records the speed to see if it exhibits the same behavior? Sometimes GPS error can cause things like this to occur, but it's not something I'd expect to see throughout a recording.
