I received a message from a user claiming that they used the Portuguese translation on their FR45 with my watch face app, but when they switched to the FR55, Portuguese no longer works (defaults to English instead). It also does not work on their FR645M. However, on both devices it works fine with other Connect IQ watch faces. It also works fine on my VA3M with my watch face. This seems really strange because I thought the language resource strings.xml files were not device-specific. It's also weird that it's just my watch face and not others.
In the simulator, the list of language options for the FR55 includes everything except Portuguese. For the FR45 and FR645M, Portuguese is listed as an option. This is inconsistent with the user's claim that their FR645M did not work with Portuguese with my watch face.
I also found this post about Portuguese disappearing from the Edge 1040: forums.garmin.com/.../1586045
Is this a bug? Has anyone else encountered this type of issue where a certain language translation does not work with certain devices?
