Custom App not getting wrist HR

Hi all,

I created a very simple custom app on the Fenix 3 to track my HR during a yoga workout.

GPS was set to off and I wanted the data field to show the ring of HR zones and where I was... Simple I thought...

Whenever I try it it refuses to pick up HR data from the wrist. It seems to want to search for a band. ANy ideas?

I haven't personally tried this, but have you tried the following API: ActivityMonitor > HeartRateSample. This seems to be an alternative way to get heart rate data besides the Sensor API and is only currently supported on the fr235 and fenix 3 HR.

edit: You may have to access this through HeartRateIterator?

Although this is what the doc states, it is also supported by vivoactive hr, d2bravo titanium and 735xt

Hi. Maybe I explained it badly. I actually meant just making a custom activity on the watch itself.
