Feature request : add recovery time to watch face API

Could you pls add recovery time to the watch face API?

Ta...

Recovery Time. i.e. the information available under menu->My Stats->Recovery Advisor->Recovery Time.
  • YEs, this will be nice feature, as currently Recovery Time is quite hidden in the menu...
  • Its not so much it's hidden in the menu as not available to the watch face API and therefore as a developer I cannot show it...
  • I've actually already got an open request here to make all of the 'My Stats' items available, which includes some other items like VO2 max. So, I've got you covered. :) I'll add notes about recovery time so it's specifically called out on the ticket.

Shouldn't a developer ask for something because a user needs it? A value being hidden in a menu is a valid reason for a user to want to have it on a watch face. A developer wanting a value in a framework, just because it's technically possible, is not (in my opinion).

Yes, I meant it is hidden, thus it would be very useful to have it on main screen, to avoid digging through the menu. I believe it should be as one of the main screens (like steps graph) but at least it should be possible to be placed on the watch face.

Yes, I am the user, and I was asking RUPERTHAWKES to put it on the watch face. That's why is he asking to make it available via API. So I guess it is correct approach?
