Final distance from BLE fitness divice

I think I already know the answer. But have to ask to eliminate all options. Is there any possibility of setting the distance and also lap distance based upon distance data received from a BLE fitness or BLE device?

I got all the speed, cadence and distance data to make the graphs I want. But now I would like to set the final distance.

To answer my question. Yes by using the fit contributor with MESG_TYPE_LAP and MESG_TYPE_SESSION

fit contrib data is always in addition to the data collected by the firmware with Garmin Connect, Even if you use nativenum for the field.

You can't replace the distance from the firmware with your data automatically.

Yep, thanks for that addition, that is totally true. But with the fields you do have the info in the activity.
