cannot run simulator with Instinct2X

When trying to run to run any of my apps ("Nap till rested", "Body Accounting", "Battery Guesstimate") with the newest SDK (4.2.4) and the new Instinct2X watch in the simulator I get this error:

Clicking on "continue" produces more errors and finally a simulator that does show the watch but does not start the apps.

Is that a bug in the simulator?

I'm using VSCode on Ubuntu Linux

What happens if you click "Continue"? Have you tried restarting everything (sim/vs code)? You have the 4.2.4 SDK? I've had no problem with the Instinct2X (win11, 4.2.4, latest device files)

Yes it is the newest SDK, I also tried restarting, but no luck so far.

Do you see anything in the debug console in VS code?

Does you app support the Instinct2? The Instinct2x is basically the same when it comes to the display and the memory limits

Yes all my apps work with the instict2. It works in the simulator and I test all apps on a real Instict2.

I guess I can just publish apps for the Instinct2x without running them in the simulator if they work with the normal instict2
